Hi there

I?m Robert Black, Ray?s business partner for the last?2 1/2 years. Many of you will be wondering

1. Why you have heard nothing from Ray for an awfully?long time?
2. Why support tickets/emails to Ray have gone unanswered?
3. Why I am writing on Ray?s blog?

Here?s what has happened:

Firstly this is a blog post I have been wanting to write for several weeks now, but I have only just received access to Ray?s blog. Without going into too much detail (because I don?t yet know the full story myself and also I feel it?s not my place to give out too much personal information that Ray may not want making public) this is what has happened:

• Sometime between the beginning and the middle of April Ray suffered an extremely?severe breakdown and depression
• He has been undergoing counselling and taking medication ? this treatment is ongoing
• After several weeks of trying to get in contact via email, skype and phone to find out what was happening he got in touch a couple of weeks ago (we live in different countries, continents in fact, so I was unable to knock on the office or house door)
• It?s only in the last 2 days that I have received login details to this blog and other sites so that I could finally inform all our subscribers, clients, partners and?affiliates

Although we operate this business as a partnership, Ray and I have tended to focus on different areas of the business so that we could get more done and avoid duplication. As you will know Ray?s main areas are marketing, dealing with mentoring clients, affiliates, solo ads, product launches ? that kind of thing. I tend to work more in the background on projects such as building web sites, traffic and SEO strategies, product creation, etc. The products we have brought out are as a result of my personal experience of finding out what works ? we don?t just SELL Internet Marketing but we actually DO Internet Marketing.

While doing things that way has enabled us to get far more work done, the downside is that when something unexpected like this happens it is very difficult for the other person to step in and pick up the pieces. I have to assume that due to his illness Ray has been unable to respond to emails for probably at least 2 months which means there?s a lot of people reading this waiting on answers to questions. Some may have even given up?

This is what we?re going to do

1. While I?ll be happy to answer to your comments below I have set up a support desk on my blog specifically to deal with any and all issues arising from this post. Please submit your support tickets/questions/comments here:http://www.robert-black.com/support/

   I promise every ticket will be answered ? whether you are a customer, an affiliate, a mentoring client -?all outstanding issues will be resolved. I?ve made it as easy as possible to submit tickets there, no sign up/confirmation required although this will change if I start getting a lot of spam there. Hopefully everyone will play fair?

2. Because Ray will be taking a slight back seat for the time being we are bringing in someone to help out ? Paul Power. For those who don?t know about Paul, he is one of our successful mentoring clients and an experienced marketer. Indeed Paul actually runs his own mentoring program now. Ray and I are delighted and fortunate to be able to welcome someone of Paul?s calibre on board.
3. One of the ironic things is that before Ray?s unfortunate situation came to a head is that we had a number of projects/products that were about 90% ready, and would have been released by now. Once we have dealt with the backlong of queries/support tickets we will be launching some very exciting products so that?s something to look out for.

Finally I?d just like to extend my personal best wishes to Ray, hope he makes a speedy recovery and gets back to doing what he does best.
